Vegetarianism


Millions people live without eating any meat and even fish, and each one of them has his own reasons for doing so : animals, environment, health, appearance, taste, to be trendy.
I will present a few advantages of being on vegetarian diet :
  • ·         This diet is better for our health : balanced vegetarian diet is one of the best diets for our body.
  • ·         It is better for environment : this diet is one of the best choices because it is more friendly for our entourage. The meat industry use an immense quantity of the ground, water, fossil fuels producing at the same time 18% of global greenhouse emissions and others pollutions.
  • ·         This way of eating is better, of course, for the animals : more than 1 million animals are killed every day only because we want to eat them.  What is more, 80% of this living creatures came from the indrustial farms.
  • ·         It is an act of solidarity : the occidental model of eating exhausted planetary resources to the detriment of the south countries.
  • ·         It is a delicious food.
This reasons aren’t exhaistives. A good many religious recommend this diet and there is a great number of people who decided to refrain from meat on account of more general ethical reasons. This diet can be also one of the cheapiest ways of eating.
